You can entertain in Cairo so easily, because there is a lot of places to hang out in, having fun, drink, dance, go to live concerts, etc...
Most of the Entairtainment in Egypt, is in the nightlife, not in the daylife…

Daylife:

Fun planet:

It's located in Arcadia Mall at Corniche El Nile. It opens from three o'clock in the afternoon and closes at eleven o'clock at night. It's closed on Tuesdays and the tickets' prices are 15 pounds and 20 pounds.

Magic Galaxy Park

It's located at City Stars Mall and it opens from three o'clock in the afternoon and closes at around twelve o'clock at night. The tickets are for 2 pounds which is the entry fee and then the Game Card is for 5 pounds.

Nightlife:

Cairo at night is very beautiful and there's alot of things you can do. People in Cairo know how to enjoy themselves. They go out shopping, having fun and socializing, drinking, dancing and so much more. The fun never ends and even though some places close at around three o'clock in the morning, there are still some places that are open 24/7.

There are loads of stuff that you can do and you have so many choices and alternatives. Basically, there are bars that are usually named 'cafeterias', to cover the fact they serve alcohol but they are totally safe and no need to worry.
If you want to have a look, you can go to Sharia Alfy area at Midan Oraby.

The English edition of Al-Ahram newspaper is called the 'Al-Ahram Weekly'. It's released every Saturday. You should take a look at the newspaper to see what's new and what's going on around Cairo. There's also the monthly magazine Egypt Today but it's not always updated.

Bars:

Most hotels in egypt have bars. They are kind of western style and are very popular. There are many around the city but ofcourse there are some listed as best.
There's Harry's Pub in the Mariott Hotel. It's kind of busy and it has karaoke and is famous for the ladies' night. There's the Revolving Restaurant Lounge that is located at the Grand Hayatt and the Windows on the World bar that is located at Ramses Hilton. There's also the Pyramids Bar and Terrace located at the Nile Hilton and also the Sultan bar at Mena House which has a fanatastic view of the Pyramids.

Clubs:

Nightclubs in Egypt is a place where you sit eat and drink and have fun while watching some kind of show. Most shows are of belly dancers which is very nice. But again, hotels also have great options for your entertainment. It's better if someone recommends you to a certain place. You'll meet lots of people in Egypt who know how to get entertained and if you ask they will be more than glad to help.

JAZZ CLUB:

There they have the best live music in the city. It's not the finest place but you should dress up and enjoy some great music and have some drinks.

UPSTAIRS:

There's an admission charge to enter there but you should go there if you love to dance. Many of the wealthy people in Cairo go there on a regualar basis. Prepare yourself to dance, drink and enjoy your time there.

Omar Khayyam is a casion and it's open through the day and night. You get free drinks as long as you're playing one of the games they have over there.

It's usually a pretty crowded place so it's recommend to make reservations before going. It's a nice place, have some drinks, enjoy your time and have fun.
