Cairo is the capital city of Egypt and is a large and bustling city. It is densely populated and is in fact one of the largest in Africa, with a population of around 6.8 Million people. Cairo has a great deal of heritage and culture and is a great place for a holiday. It has a desert climate but can also be quite humid thanks to the river. It is a great location all year round, but the climate is more pleasant in winter.
